Working AI software • Built in Palm Desert, CA

We don’t just talk about AI. We build it and run it.

What we built

Get a website. Lock it down. Put AI to work.

No install, no integration project, no consultant required. The website is free to see, the Security Checkup is free, and two of the tools are free to start. Pick the one that matches the problem you actually have.

AI Websites

aiwebsites.thingletai.com

Most small businesses don’t need a five-thousand-dollar agency project. They need a real website that loads fast, says what they do, and turns up when somebody searches for it. So we build yours first and you don’t pay anything until you look at it and say yes. After that it’s $29.99 a month with hosting and maintenance included, and you pick your own domain.

  • We build it before you pay. No card, no deposit, no obligation
  • $29.99 a month covers hosting, maintenance, and an hour of updates
  • Choose and register your own domain after approval. You own it
  • Cancel anytime. The site goes offline, your domain stays yours
$29.99

per month, after you approve it

Nothing up front. We build, you review, and the first bill only starts once you accept the site.

Built in public

Where we find out what actually works

On afakeserver.com, three AI models run their own trading strategies against live market data, on identical rules and identical starting balances, with the scoreboard public. Claude, ChatGPT, and Grok, plus a purely mechanical strategy as a control. Some of them lose. That is the point of publishing it. Most of what we know about AI reliability, guardrails, and cost came out of experiments like this one.

Straight answers

Questions owners ask before they buy

The narrow ones, not the ones a search engine guesses at.

Can you really build my website before I pay anything?

Yes, and that is the whole point of how AI Websites works. You tell us what the business does, we build the site, and you look at it. No card, no deposit, nothing due while it is being built. If you approve it, the first bill is $29.99 a month and that covers hosting, maintenance and an hour of updates each month. If you don't approve it, you owe nothing. You choose and register your own domain after approval, and it stays yours even if you cancel the plan later.

Do you handle IT security too, or just websites and AI?

We do, through Thinglet Recon, our IT security consulting for Palm Desert and the Coachella Valley. It covers networks and Wi-Fi, business email, laptops and workstations, backups, and the phishing and wire-fraud scams aimed at small offices. Start with the free Security Checkup at recon.thingletai.com (opens in a new tab). It only looks at public pages and never asks for passwords or admin access. If you want someone to go deeper, we consult Monday through Friday, 9 to 5, for one household or an office of a hundred people.

How is a $29 AI helper different from just using ChatGPT?

ChatGPT is an empty box you have to describe the job to every single time. These are pre-built for one job each and already set up: The Writer drafts blog posts and emails, The Researcher sizes up a competitor, The Summarizer turns a meeting transcript into decisions and owners. Results land in your inbox, on your phone, or straight into the tools you already use, and you can connect your own Gmail or Outlook so anything sent goes out as you rather than as a robot.

Will AI-written content sound like everyone else's?

It will if you publish the first draft, which is why we don't. The Writer drafts in your voice from what you give it, and you review before anything goes out. Treat the output as a first draft from a capable assistant who has never met your customers. The judgement about what is actually true of your business is still yours, and that is the part that makes writing sound like a person.

Is it safe to put customer information into an AI tool?

It depends entirely on the tool, and the answer is worth checking rather than assuming. The federal reference point is the NIST AI Risk Management Framework (opens in a new tab), a voluntary framework built around four functions: govern, map, measure and manage. The practical version for a small business is shorter. Find out where the data is processed and stored, whether your inputs are used to train anyone's model, who on your team can see what, and what happens to the data if you leave. If a vendor will not answer those four questions plainly, that is your answer.

What happens if the AI gets something wrong?

Nothing reaches a customer without a person approving it. That is a deliberate design choice, not a limitation we are apologising for. AI is fast and confident and occasionally wrong in ways that read perfectly fluently, so the useful setup is one where it does the drafting and a human does the sending. Anyone selling you a system that posts, emails or replies with no review step is selling you a risk, not a saving.

Do small businesses actually use AI, or is that just hype?

Far fewer than the noise suggests. The U.S. Census Bureau's Business Trends and Outlook Survey (opens in a new tab) found overall business AI use running at 17 to 20 percent between December 2025 and May 2026, and under 20 percent among firms with four or fewer employees, while 37 percent of firms with 250 or more employees were using it. So the honest picture is that big companies are pulling ahead and most small ones have not started. That gap is the whole opportunity, and it will not stay open.

Do I need to be technical to use any of this?

No. There is no install, no integration project and no consultant required to get started. The helpers are already running on our servers, the audit asks you for a website address, and the tool finder asks five questions. If you can use email you can use these. If you would rather not click the buttons yourself, we do the hands-on setup too.

What does the free audit actually tell me?

The Recon Report scores how your business shows up online: your website, your social presence and your local listings. It comes back with what to fix first and what it is costing you to leave broken, in plain language rather than a metrics dump. It takes about a minute and it is free, with no obligation to hire anyone afterward.

Can someone set this up for us instead?

Yes. The products cover most of what a small business needs, but setup and integration, team training and custom builds are all still hands-on services from the same shop and the same people. Everything on this page started as a custom build for somebody. A 30-minute call to work out which of those you actually need costs nothing.
